M. Smithson, C.R.N.P. Marcia Smithson is a life-long Maryland resident, with varied experience as a Nurse Practitioner, who joined the practice in August, 2006. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Nursing with an MS degree in Geriatric/Adult Advanced Nursing Practice. Additionally, she has a Post-Master's Certificate in Advanced Nursing – Pediatrics, from Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing. Previous Nurse Practitioner experience includes preoperative assessment, orthopaedic management of degenerative joint disease/joint replacement and soft tissue tumors, and care of neurological/neurosurgical patients at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Marcia is seeing patients in the Bel Aire and Havre de Grace offices. |
